15th - 19th November

We have had a busy week in 1A!

On Monday afternoon we went a walk up to Muddisdale. We took pictures of the things we could see around Kirkwall from there for our topic. It was hard work walking all that way so we had a few well deserved rests on the way!

As it was Children in Need this week, we made Pudsy's yummy Strawberry Fairy Cakes. We all enjoyed making them and they relly were worth the effort as they were delicious!

We found out more about Sally the sea turtle from Trinidad. We used paper plates to make our own turtles. They looked really good.
On Friday we too part in Children in Need. We worked with the other Primary 1 classes to make Pudsy and Blush using coppers and 5p coins. It was great fun!
